Bird-watching is one of the oldest hobbies in the United
States and the winter months are some of the best months to enjoy watching and
feeding your birds. Winter is also an important time to provide substance and care for for your birds due to the lack other resources which is brought on by the harshness of the season. Bird feeders are a great way to involve people of all ages
with nature. It is an outdoor activity that stretches throughout the entire
year, and once started, bird feeding becomes a part of your daily routine. Share
the love that you have with your birds with the kids and others in your life
and show them the ropes of bird feeding. Talk with them about the importance of
feeder maintenance, feeder placement, and you can even get as specific as
talking about attracting different species.

favorite bird loving friend would be a great way to start this year. With the
